Characters
- Ada Clover Ada Clover is the Older Sister of Carl and daughter of Relius and Ignis.
- Arakune Arakune is one of the fighters in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Its Drive Ability is called Crimson, which curses an opponent, causing multiple insects to attack.
- Bang Shishigami Bang Shishigami is a self-parodying ninja from BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. His Drive Ability: Burning Heat enables him to use the full extent of his ninjutsu skills.
- Carl Clover Carl is one of the fighters in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. His Drive Ability is called Auto Maton, which allows the player to control Nirvana, a mechanical marionette whom is also Carl's sister, Ada Clover.

- Hakumen "I am the white void. I am the cold steel. I am the just sword. With blade in hand shall I reap the sins of this world and cleanse it in the fires of destruction. I am Hakumen. The end has come!"
- Hazama Hazama works for the intelligence department of the NOL (Novus Orbis Librarium). In the story he travels around and gives orders to Noel. At the end of the story, he reveals himself to be the former host of Yuki Terumi until they seperated.
- Iron Tager Iron Tager (TR-0009) is a fighter in the game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. His Drive Ability is called Volttech Battler, which uses electricity and magnetism to grab his opponents.
- Jin Kisaragi Jin Kisaragi is a Major within the 4th Thaumaturgist Squadron of the Novus Orbis Librarium. His Drive Ability is called Frost Bite, which freezes opponents.
- Jubei Jubei the cat was one of the Six Heroes, Ragna's teacher, Kokonoe's father and the cat-person whose genes would later give birth to the entire Kaka clan of cat-people.
- Kokonoe A genius cat-lady who works for Sector Seven, and has her own reasons for wanting to kill Terumi.
- Litchi Faye Ling Litchi is a doctor who runs a health clinic in Kagutsuchi while she searches for a way to revert Arakune to his formal self. She uses her Matenbou to beat down her opponents.
- Makoto Nanaya An energetic squirrel-girl that first appeared as an NPC in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger before being made available as DLC for Continuum Shift. As a student, she was friends with Noel and Tsubaki.
- Nine the Phantom Nine the Phantom is an important character in the BlazBlue story, with connections to several of the characters.
- Noel Vermillion Noel is a character in the game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Her Drive Ability is called Chain Revolver, which helps in chaining combos together.
- Rachel Alucard Rachel is a character from the fighting game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. She is a vampire and head of the Alucard family.
- Ragna the Bloodedge Ragna the Bloodedge is one of the fighters in the game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. His Drive Ability ("Soul Eater") absorbs the opponent's life.
- Saya Saya is the genetic sister of Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi.
- Taokaka Taokaka is a fighter from the BlazBlue franchise. She is a cat-girl, with a Drive ability known as Dancing Edge: Reckless Kitty; a fast slashing attack that lets her dart across the screen at will.
- Trinity Glassfille Trinity Glassfille is one of the members of the Six heroes from BlazBlue.
- Tsubaki Yayoi A soldier in the Novus Orbis Librarium. A classmate and friend of Noel Vermillion who has been tasked with hunting both her and Jin down for the NOL in the epilogue of the story.
- V-13 ν-13 (pronounced 'Nu-13') is a playable boss character in BlazBlue. A cyborg girl who rises from the Cauldron under the Library of Kagutsuchi and seeks to merge with Ragna in an attempt to destroy the world.
- Valkenhayn Hellsing Valkenhayn is a mysterious man who was once part of the "Six Heroes". He now serves as a butler to Rachel Alucard.
- Yuki Terumi Yuki Terumi is one of the main villains of the BlazBlue series and Hazama was his artfical vessel until they seperated in Chronophantasma and later is revealed to be Susano'o himself.
